A regional jewellery brand needed a Shopify storefront that matched how shoppers actually buy rings: choose a setting, pick a diamond, then complete the purchase with confidence.
Challenge
Standard Shopify themes and jewellery apps could not deliver a clean setting-plus-diamond purchase flow. The brand needed a New Zealand storefront that felt local, explained product detail clearly, and let shoppers configure a complete ring before checkout without friction or broken variant state.
What we built
We built the Shopify store from scratch for the New Zealand catalog, then shipped a custom Ring Builder that follows the real jewellery buying path.
- Custom Ring Builder so shoppers choose a ring setting, select a diamond and assemble a complete ring before ordering
- Theme sections and product templates tuned for jewellery trust: metal, size, delivery and proof near the buy action
- Catalog, collections and content structure for a regional launch
- Launch QA across mobile product pages, cart and checkout
After launch we stayed on for maintenance so platform and app changes do not break the configurator.
Outcome
The store launched with a differentiated buying experience that matches how this jewellery catalog is sold. Shoppers can configure rings on Shopify without relying on fragile stacked apps, and the brand has ongoing development support for updates and fixes.
